My name is Marie. I am blessed to say I have been sharing my life happily with my wonderful husband of 28 years. I am the proud mother of three beautiful children and the "young" grandmother of 3 lovely, spoiled grandchildren. Being with family and sharing things together gives me a great sense of accomplishment and joy.

Before starting my business in the spring of 2007, I worked in retail sales as a manager and sales associate for a brief period of time. Although I enjoyed meeting new people everyday and strove to meet sales goals, I grew tired of the rigid hours that kept my creativity in a box. Organizing and planning has always been a passion and something I wanted to act upon. It wasn't until my daughters married that I found my true passion. Planning an event from start to finish and experiencing the joy of a bride and groom on their wedding day, gave me the inspiration to start Uptown Weddings & Events.

I have found the key to unlock that proverbial box , allowing me to have a rewarding career as a Professional Bridal Consultant. Your day should be all the things you've ever dreamed of .
